Shown Here:Nursing Home Personnel In-Service Training Act - Authorizes the Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare to make grants, not to exceed $100,000 per grant, to assist public or nonprofit private schools of nursing to meet the costs of developing short-term in-service training programs for nurses aids and orderlies for nursing homes. Provides that such programs shall emphasize the special problems of geriatric patients.
Authorizes to be appropriated $1,000,000 for fiscal year 1973, and $1,000,000 for fiscal year 1974, to carry out the purposes of this Act.
