Provides for the shipment at Government expense of motor vehicles owned by members of the Armed Forces, in the case of movement to or from Alaska, by commercial motor carrier via highways and the Alaska ferry system or other surface transportation between customary ports of embarkation and debarkation, if such means of transport does not exceed the cost to the United States of other authorized means.
