Declares that the House has learned with regret and profound sorrow of the death of Harry S. Truman, former President of the United States, who as an illustrious Member of the Senate of the United States, Vice President, and President gave so generously of his energy and wisdom and contributed so greatly to the cause of freedom.

Directs the Clerk to communicate these resolutions to the Senate and to transmit a copy of the same to the family of the deceased.
