Authorizes the Secretary of the Army, acting through the Chief of Engineers, to undertake measures to clear the channel of the North Branch of the Chicago River, Illinois, of trees roots, and other objects and thereafterr maintain such channel free of such debris. Authorizes to be appropriated not to exceed $200,000 for the Federal share of the clearing project, and not to exceed $150,000 annually for maintenance.
