Shown Here:Extends Federal injury and death benefits to all eligible public safety officers and their survivors. Defines eligible officer for the purposes of this Act as a person who is determined by the Secretary of Labor to have fireman by a State or a political subdivision of a State; (2) an officially recognized or designated member of a legally organized volunteer fire department; (3) serving without compensation as an officially recognized or designated member of a legally organized law enforcement agency of a State or political subdivision of a State; and (4) injured in the performance of such duties.
